Conditions of hire: in no case does the hire agreement cover a period greater than 48 days.
Goods are hired to the customer on the understanding that they shall be returned in an undamaged condition and the customer will be responsible for, and indemnify Moss Bros against, any loss or damage to the goods whilst on hire.
Accidental Damage Waiver (ADW) at a cost of £6.00 will be added to all Hire agreements unless declined by the customer, this provides cover to the maximum value of the goods Hired.
ADW does not cover loss, theft or malicious damage including damage sustained to top hats, e.g. top hats thrown into the air for photographs: Top hats damaged will be charged at £150.00 each. Suit covers, hat boxes, shoe trees and bags are loaned at no extra cost but are subject to a surcharge of £15.00 each if not returned or returned damaged. Moss Bros's liability in any event is limited to the value of the cost of hire paid by the customer.
A security deposit of £200.00 per outfit (£400.00 for overseas visitor and hotel guests) is required. For Highland wear £300.00 (£600.00 for overseas visitors and hotel guests) is required. The security deposit is payable by cheque or credit card only. The security deposit is held and is not processed except in the event of non-return or damage (Unless A.D.W Cover is taken). Amendments made to the hire agreement at the customer's request bear an administrative fee of £10. Cancellation fee: Orders that are cancelled within 48hours of collection date will be charged at the full hire fee. Cancellations made before this time will be subject to a £10 cancellation fee.
It may be possible to collect outfits earlier than the designated 'collection date' below: any extra costs incurred by Moss Bros will be charged at £10 per outfit.
Collection of outfits from another store can be arranged, provided at least 14 days notice is given, at a surcharge of £10.00 per outfit. hire outfits may be returned to any Moss Bros store at a surcharge of £10 per outfit. Overdue returns will be charged at £10 per day per outfit.

The Wedding Party Organiser
The wedding party organiser undertakes to ensure that Moss Bros receives accurate size information for all party members at least 3 weeks before the wedding date and to pay a surcharge of £10 for each party whom size information is received after this date. It may not be possible to supply the outfit if sizes have not been supplied by this date.

All customers must try on their outfit before leaving the store to ensure that all garments are the correct size, complete and in good condition.
Moss Bros will not be liable for any loss suffered by a customer which could have been avoided by complying with the above, nor will Moss Bros be liable for any loss of profit or any indirect or consequential loss suffered.
