Four knits you need
Workday, weekday, any-day wools.
A good selection of knits will see you through all the seasons. While open knits in light wool and cottonand work well for the summer, the wintry seasons need a few more options. They're the building blocks of all sorts of seasonal looks, so choose wisely.
We’ve spun our knits in premium, natural yarns like cashmere and alpaca, wools that give warmth without being weighty. Read on to see what key knits we've selected for your staples wardrobe this winter.
The cardigan
A men’s cardigan is a smart-casual essential for the cooler season. The ultimate layering staple, it looks just as good over casual separates as it does paired with something a bit smarter. Wear it over a merino crew for extra warmth, or try a classic Oxford shirt for a preppier take.

Crew neck jumpers
Nothing adds a hit of refinement to an autumn look quite like a crew neck jumper. It's the ideal base layer, worn with anything from chinos, to moleskin trousers, to your favourite denim. Our crew neck jumpers are made from merino- or a super soft cashmere-blend, with a great handfeel for those extra cold days. Wear on its own, or try layering with a cardigan or a wooly winter shacket.
Three-button polo
For out and about at the weekend or just kicking back at home, the three-button polo is unmatched as a leisurely basic. Our take features alpaca for extra shot of softness, and clean lines to flex between lounging and styled-up looks with ease. It’s one of those rare men’s knitted jumpers with just the right amount of slouch for a relaxed look. Another great layering piece, wear over a soft white shirt for a paired back look, or pair with chinos and a pair of polished boots to elevate the look.
Chunky knitted jumper
If the winter chill is getting to you and you need something to truly hunker down in, look to a chunky cable knit. Look to tight weaves and heavy weights, and materials like alpaca wool blends that'll mean ultimate warmth. Try a roll neck that makes for a smarter (and cosier) look.
Layer it under a winter coat or something in-between like a casual shacket. Something sleeveless like a gilet means you can still show off your knit underneath.
