Lug-sole shoes that can handle the winter season
Get your steps in.
Cold weather and precarious pavement surfaces mean one thing for footwear: it’s lug-sole season.
Our AW25 shoe lineup is defined by these chunky treads along with colorways that reflect the collection’s focus on natural tones. These are styles that combine classic design details on the upper – tasseled loafers, fringes, moc-toes – with heavy duty, lugged soles that can handle harsh weather and high step counts.
The Hackney moc-toe
The Hackney moc-toe draws a line between classic form and modern utility. The upper comes in burnished copper suede, while the U-shaped ‘moc-toe’ – a nod to workwear boots – is elevated with a scalloped trim. True function can be found in the sole, where a thick heel and heavy traction will take you wherever you need to go.
The Dulwich loafer
With tassels on the vamp, fringed detailing known as a kiltie, and a moc-toe construction, the Dulwich is a complex and eye-catching iteration of the more traditional penny loafer. The intricate design across the upper, in a rust-coloured suede, is offset by the chunky black sole.
The Eton Derby
The Eton Derby is a formal dress shoe reimagined for your daily footwear rotation. It’s a smart option that could still beat a path through harsher elements – ideal for winter days when brogues with leather soles won’t cut it.
The chukka boot
A close relative of the desert boot (its summertime cousin), our brown chukka is a sturdy choice for layered looks this season. The construction, a minimal silhouette that finishes at the ankle, offers a sharp alternative to trainers or an easy way to soften a formal outfit.
The Chelsea boot
A durable option for transitional looks, the Chelsea boot is constructed from premium Italian suede with elastic gussets for an easy on-off. The comfort continues with a soft leather footbed and high-density foam sole. A versatile must as outfits shift with changing conditions.
While the Chelsea boot doesn’t have a lug-sole, it does feature a type of construction – Blake stitching – that can be re-soled for longtime wear.
