Summer is officially over, which means it’s time to think about what you’ll be wearing at work. Whether you’re heading back for one day a week, full time or starting something new after a period off, you’re going to have to ease yourself out of your summer holiday gear and into something a little more work-appropriate. Below are a few suggestions dependant on your industry, so that you can look and feel your best when you get back to it.
Informal
If you work in a casual environment, you have the freedom to experiment a bit. You don’t have jump straight into jeans and t-shirt territory, though – try a soft cashmere rollneck perfect for the chilly period, in a neutral winter white tone to wash away the winter blues.
As for your lower half, invest in a pair of flannel trousers for the colder weather. With a wide leg and a soft brushed finish, you'll get a lot of use out of them beyond the office too.
