"Overall - disappointed of the service received. Firstly - this was the first time I hired a suit. I chose Moss Bros because of the brand and hoping I'd be guaranteed good customer service, speedy transaction and helpful advice.
I booked online a free fitting session to know what sizes I should order for my Claret Tuxedo. When I showed up at my time slot, which had to be booked at least 3 days in advance, the staff member seemed quite confused about the online booking system, but nevertheless assisted me in choosing my sizes (to some extent). He came across as somehow inattentive and oblivious. He was going to order the wrong trousers size, he wasn't confident in putting the order through the till and would have overcharged me had I not pointed it out and so forth. Initially, I was told the order wouldn't make it in time for picking up from the same store - Holborn -, so I'd have to pick it up form somewhere else. Then, he called me saying I should pick it up from Holborn in the end.
Finally, when I showed up for the pick up, they had the suit prepared for me in the wrong colour - blue instead of burgundy. Eventually, after more wasted time, he managed to find an alternative suit in stock.
The biggest disappointed is the wasted time. I prefer hiring a suit to avoid having to wander around in shops and have to consider what suit is worth buying and investing in. However, this experience had me wasting more time that I'd have hoped.
Although I wouldn't fully rule out choosing Moss Bros in the future, I will seriously consider other alternatives before choosing it."
