Regular Fit Black Twill Suit

I was trying to buy a black suit for a funeral - but the suit I ordered was quite shiny and inappropriate for a funeral. It felt cheap. Also the jacket size was odd - fine on the chest, shoulders, arms etc but tight on the hips and waist. The trousers fitted fine on the waist but felt baggy on the legs. I am fairly standard build - I went into Oxford St the next day after returning and bought an off the peg suit that fitted perfectly from M&S.

The suit I bought was not of the same material or did not look like the same material as the suit I bought from them a few days before although descriptions were the same both twill.The trousers looked good however I was unimpressed with the jacket as it developed wrinkles by the arms straight out of the bag. I just couldn't ignore this although the fit was good, I just had to return it.

It's more related to the fact that after trying it out - without even leaving my room or doing anything more extreme than sitting down - it was apparently in too bad a condition to be returned, despite discomfort and previously assured option to give it back. Now, having worn it twice, I am more than sure I would have liked it returned and refunded - fabric feels nice at first, but shoulders crease even whilst hung and much more when on the body.
